That sounds good, Ellen! I just wrote a note to folks who have expressed interest in the group, trying to make sure everyone makes it over here. Lisa--we had talked about a goal of posting work by the Sunday second Sunday of the month in anticipation of the third Sunday meeting. We gotta get more folks over here starting discussions! :) If we have a number of people interested in meeting up, let's plan to subdivide at the next meet up. I'm going to start a discussion asking for "roll call" for people planning on attending the next meeting. Do start discussions, y'all. I'm sick of seeing my picture on all over the discussion forum! :)

I'm coming into our "lounge" tonight and tomorrow to get caught up on discussions! :) Whew--what a life! I hope everyone is well! Anybody signed up for the April event in Virginia City? Looks great!

Hi all - I've joined because I still hope to come to the Sunday sessions when I can and that's TODAY. Yea. I find I can't keep up on all the groups/pages I belong to very well, so forgive me if I'm only spotted occasionally online but I check e-mail several times a day so you can always get me there - nevadascbwi@charter.net So looking forward to the group today.

Per our conversation today, here are some of the YA blogs that I subscribe to on my reader:

YA Romance Reviews
Yapping About YA
Sarah's Young Adult Book Blog
Flaming Net Young Adult Book Blog

What's cool (to me) is that three of those blogs are run by kids, where they are the ones reviewing the books. It's a great perspective.

Won't be making it today :( My son started track yesterday and it was a long day!
I have not had a chance to read the current postings yet. So I will try to respond sometime in the next few days.
Still working on my story Black and White Lies, I will post later this week. So if anyone gets a chance to check it out. I would appreciate the feedback.
Look forward to seeing everyone next month.

I came down with a respiratory bug Friday (I'm still sick with it) so couldn't come to the critique group, after all. I hope to come next time.

Feel better, Susan! We missed you!

Hi Judy ~ Thank you so much for the comments! I'm going to work on the paragraph you mentioned and send you the revision and you can tell me if it is clearer to understand. Someone else in the critique group last Sunday brought this up as well. What part of California are you from? I'm from Southern California...Glendale to be exact. ~Debbie :)
